When I read about Divya's Royal Kitchen Event the first ingredient that came in my mind was Paneer . When you use other ingredients then for the dish to become royal we need to add dry fruits, Khoya, Ghee and all these things so that it become rich and fit for the royal feast. But Paneer in itself is so rich and delicious that its mere presence makes the dish royal . This is a simple to prepare yet extremely delicious and rich dish which has never failed to give me loads of praises whenever prepared .
Ingredients :
500 gms - Paneer cut into cubes
2 - Onions chopped finely
2 tbsp - Panch Poran seeds crushed
(mustard, methi, jeera, saunf, kalonji )
1 big bowl - whisked curd
4 - finely chopped green chillies
turmeric powder
For garnishing - coriander leaves
Ghee
Method :
Heat Ghee and add the crushed panch poran seeds.
When they splutter add chopped onions and chooped green chilliesand cook till transparent.
Add whisked curd and turmeric powder.
Cook till the rawness of the curd goes and water starts evaporating .
Add paneer cubes and cook till they are nicely coated with the masala.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
The dish can be served with naans, parathas or hot pulavs.
