Bread Pakoda

I usually avoid making deep fried snacks. But sometimes we all crave for such tasty things . Bread pakoda is one such yummy and simple dish which no one can resist . It can be prepared very easily.
In this pakodas I have used the normal potato mixture. But bread can be filled with variety of other fillings.
So go ahead and try with whatever filling or even some leftover dry vegetable at home.
The result is these mouth watering pakodas..........

Ingredients :

1 packet......................slice bread
3 to 4 .......................potatoes boiled and mashed
3 to 4..........................green chillies finely chopped
1 tbsp........................garlic paste
2 ..............................onions finely chopped
2 to 3 tbsp..................coriander leaves chopped
1 tsp............................Turmeric pd
2 cups .........................besan
2 tsp...........................Turmeric pd
salt
Oil for deep frying



Method :

Add chillies, garlic paste , chopped onions, coriander ,salt and turmeric to mashed potatoes.
Mix properly and keep aside.
In a vessel add besan , salt, 2 tsp turmeric and add water to make a batter as in bhajias.
Apply the potato mixture evenly to one bread slice and top it with the other slice.
In this way keep all the sandwiches ready filled with potato.
Cut them diagonally into two.
Heat oil in kadai .
When the oil is hot, dip the halved  sandwiches in the besan mixture and deep fry till golden in colour.
Serve with chutney or ketchup.
