Pizza is one dish which will be a forever favorite in my house . All of us love pizzas and usually I have to make pizzas at least once in a month. But it was always with the store bought base.
So when Baking Partners decided that this month we will make a pizza along with the home made pizza base I was a bit excited as it would be a totally new experience.
But soon I realized that making pizza at home needs quite a practice. The first time I made thin crust pizza it turned out to be hard and crispy ( though taste wise we liked it).
So the next time I tried it I kept the base little thicker and the result was more satisfying. Though I would like to try this home made base a few more times before I could master it.
For the challenge we had to choose from 3 different recipes suggested by Pam of livinranchodelux , Archana of tangymind and Priya of enveetukitchen . Though all the recipes were interesting I finalized on Archanas recipe as I wanted to try out the thin crust for the base.
And so there was pizzas for this weekend dinner one with hard base( pic above) and one with a better one which you are seeing in the picture given below.
But I must admit that it was a nice experience trying out the base at home.
Thanks Swathi and Archana for this lovely challenge.
